It is hard to describe the Turquoise Coast of the Mediterranean. The dramatic Tauros Mountains seem to caress the vast expanses of white sand: crystal-clear waters, isolated beaches and romantic ruins create a destination that provides complete peace and relaxation, history, romance and beauty.

Although the scenery along the hairpin coastal roads is spectacular, the most romantic way to explore the secrets of this region is by boat: either renting a gulet (traditional wooden boat) for a week or taking daytrips from the harbors of the little towns along the coast.

Wonderful and unique ruins from ancient civilizations dot the Turquoise Coast, such as Xanthos, Perge, Aspendos and Olympos. The list goes on. Lycian rock tombs are carved into cliffs and mountainsides. Other ruins are accessible only from the sea and others have been submerged and are visible only by boat beneath the water.

Enjoy the little towns that dot the shoreline, each with wonderful cafes, outstanding restaurants and picturesque harbors. A few are known particularly for their nightlife.

Scuba diving, snorkeling , skiing and windsurfing are all available.

The warm, crystal-clear waters of the Turquoise Coast invite you to their sweetness. Find your own private lagoon and experience the serenity and romance of the Turquoise Coast.
